Welcome back friends! I hope you are enjoying a wonderful holiday season, full of time to relax and refresh amidst the hustle and bustle.
This month I have decided to do a little Advent styled countdown to Christmas full of Christmas-y things we love. The list continues...
The annual Christmas Party that our friends host. Props to them, for all of the fun props...
Our jammied car rides, looking at lights.
This year we found a few houses that have their lights set to music. We all loved those the most!
Christmas cards, we love them!
The Buckman's annual Christmas party.
Bryan's parents and their best friends since high school have a family party every year. It started with four friends many years ago, and now looks like this...
This year, there was a contest for "Best Olaf". We had two teams, Elsa's and Anna's, and the two teams were given the supplies they needed and timed to make their Best Olaf. It was tons of fun!
Reading Christmas books.
Every year we go to the library and check out a whole bunch of Christmas books to read throughout the month.
Gingerbread house making!
Christmas Eve breakfast with friends.
This year a bunch of friends gathered (kid free) for breakfast together on Christmas Eve morning. It was such a nice (and quiet) time to relax and enjoy friendship!
This year Bryan was on shift on Christmas Eve. My parents came over that afternoon and spent the night, and then we all celebrated in the morning on Christmas Day, when Bryan got home.
"Merry Christmas pets"...
Hooray for Christmas presents from my sister's family in Denmark!
Christmas afternoon, we went to Bryan's parents house to rock Christmas with his family.
It was a wonderful day. Of course we all enjoyed giving and receiving presents, but also truly enjoyed the time we spent with our family. We are so very blessed.
And now... we end at the beginning of it all. When The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us.
The Christmas Story!
And that's the end of it, friends!
Happy New Year to you and yours!
