Almost home!

This is just a little update on the progress of our church, and our new church home. We've got one more week to get everything finished, and then we get to celebrate on Sunday! I can't wait!

Look at those smiles! There is all kinds of fun to be had while shoveling, planting and landscaping. The kids played in the rocks and dirt for hours, and I'm pretty sure they had more fun than if I would have brought toys and books.

Throughout this whole church renovation process, I have been so impressed with the hearts of the people that make up our body of believers. So many people have come out to offer their services, whether it be professional, or helping hands, or bringing food to feed the workers. This is such a great group of people, full of smiles and happy hearts and willing to spend so much of their time working together. I feel so privileged to be a part of this community of faith.

Throughout the day, I'd finish one job, and ask the boss man what I could do next. At some point, I received this assignment...

I turned this big mountain of rocks into a parking lot. I wish there was some photoshop editing function that would change my face to look relaxed and cool, like I wasn't completely unsure and a bit stressed... But stressful or not, it was super fun, and the rocks got moved.

Before we left for the day, Mr. Bob took the kids for a ride in his big truck, and they got to watch the rocks dump from the inside. That may have been the highlight of their whole day.

Yesterday was our last Sunday in the high school auditorium. It was a little bit emotional, both happy and sad. We have great memories there, but we are so very excited to have a place of our very own. God is so good, and we are so thankful!
