The randomness continues.

My little drama queen, oh, how I love her. This is the evolution of a tantrum, the girl who did not want to put her shoes on, to go to church.

I have a hard time not laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of it all. And in the end, her shoes were on, and we were on our way.

Grady and I caught a grasshopper. I'm sure the grasshopper would have liked me to open the jar to get a nice, clear picture of him (while he was jumping straight towards my face), but I didn't fall for it.

And then we colored pictures. Can you guess which one is mine?

Oh stinkers. I gave it away.

Today we got to babysit a sweet little friend. She was so happy and giggly, and the kids loved spending the day with her.

I love how Bella is so confident taking care of this sweet girl. She pretended to be the mama, and instructed Grady on how to help her. It mostly sounded like bossing, but he went along with it. And I love how he is watching her so intently in the picture below.

Then tonight, we had an Olympic Party. The kids stayed up late watching swimming and gymnastics, and were all snuggled up in blankets. There really was nothing partyish about it, except that Bella is my girl, and thinks that everyday should have a party.
It started out this way...

...and ended up this way. It was perfect.

Good night or good day to you.

  1. Someday Lilly will get a laugh out of these pics of her and her tantrum. Love it!

  2. Everyday should have a party - that's awesome! :)

  3. So Pearl Girl is a ridiculous drama queen & Bella is confident with bossy tendencies. Hmmmmmm. Who would you say they take after? Sound like anyone we know & love? ;)
