Happy Father's Day

Today, we celebrated our fathers; my father Wayne, Bryan's father Dan and the father of my three beautiful little loves, Bryan.

It is so hard to put into words what exactly these men mean to me and our family. (But since I rock at run-on sentences, I'll give it a go.) They are supportive and loving, they are generous and kind, they love me and my babies, they invest time into our lives, they are providers and protectors, they are teachers, they are friends, and so much more.

So today, to celebrate these leaders of our families, we had a big family cook-out, featuring steak, chicken, shrimp, peppers, onions, mushrooms, squash, zucchini, pineapples and potatoes.

We enjoyed some family time, and being together.

I love how Papa is holding the computer in place with a plastic sword!

Three generations of Buckman men.

To my father,
Thank you for investing your life into mine. You have taught me responsibility and common sense, loyalty and commitment. You have taught me how to change a tire, replace a floor and how to be prepared. You have never been too busy to help, and are always willing to listen. Most importantly, you have taught me to love and follow my heavenly father, and to discern truth. I love you, and enjoy you more than you know. Thanks so much for being my dad. I have always known I was loved by you.
