It was a good day.

I love homeschooling mamas, and homeschooled kids. Today we had a picnic at the park with our Classical Conversations friends. It was so nice to be able to sit and talk, and watch our kids play together. We're excited for the next school year, and it's fun to talk about different curriculum, and what our kids really enjoy learning about, and what things are a little more difficult for each child to grasp. There's a comfort in having something in common with other families, and knowing we're not alone in this choice to educate our own children.

Baby love tried (unsuccessfully) for quite awhile to pick up both balls at the same time. She was so determined.

Tonight was perfect for a spur of the moment, freshly bathed and jammied, "quick get in the car", trip to watch the sunset.

It was 79 degrees and breezy, and beautiful. It was a perfect excuse to spend just a few more minutes outside before the day was over, snuggling with my little loves.

Oh, it was a good day.

  1. I LOVE how Baby Love cannot be parted from those pearls! I wonder what it is about them that makes her so attached to them?
